Empower your child by having them learn life lessons from the best the world has to offer. Often kids don’t want to hear success principles from their parents, so who should they hear it from? The answer is their personal heroes in categories that matter, and some of the most accomplished people in the world.
In our house, kids are expected to do homework every day except Friday. If they don’t have any assigned homework from the school, we give them homework. To mix up types of homework, our kids can pick two out of three things any given day: math, write 4 paragraphs or watch an Evan Carmichael video learning life lessons from successful people. We always let our kids pick who they want to learn from, on the Evan Carmichael channel.
Give a homework option of learning from the best in the world

Evan Carmichael is a Canadian Youtuber entrepreneur, who puts together personal development videos of all sorts of famous people. The videos contain top ten lists sharing ten life lessons from the person. You can find videos on athletes likes James LeBron, creators like Steve Jobs, business owners like Mark Cuban who share their lessons on hard work, discipline and taking action.
Evan’s goal is to help people unlock their potential and see what they are capable of doing. He wants people to start thinking bigger, stop doubting themselves and start taking action. Evan is the author of two books:
Kids like to learn from their heroes

Good as those are however, kids prefer listening to successes they find more relevant like, gamer Pewdie-Pie, comic legend Stan Lee, hip hop Ariana Grande, Bruce Lee, etc. Your child will enjoy watching a video on their hero and they will not even realize (or care) that they are actually learning success principles for life. Our kids surprise us by recalling on demand lessons per star that we think are life changing perspectives.
The videos cover a lot of wisdom that is not covered in school, like how to overcome creative and business obstacles, how to think clearly, that you become the five people you spend the most time with, and the reality that most successful people have experienced failure and kept going.
Learning to accept failure and not let it hold you back is a foundational life lesson. For example, billionaire Jack Ma, who founded Ali Baba (the Amazon of China), and is now the richest man in China, was rejected in his twenties by KFC. Jack applied to Kentucky Fried Chicken and in the first round of interviews he was the only person rejected out of 24 people. Twenty three people went on to the next round of interviews and Jack was left behind. Well, Jack Ma didn’t let the rejection stop him, in fact he just bought part of KFC in China. Our kids loved this story.

Your child will learn advanced business and success concepts
Watching the videos has had a huge positive effect on my children, with them learning many advanced business and success concepts they might not have hit until 30’s!! I honestly can’t thank Evan Carmichael enough for the life lessons they have given my kids.
If you want to embed life lessons that will be absorbed and used, let kids do so with an Evan Carmichael video. As they are watching, they will not even realize that they are getting an rich and unconventional education.
